Mourning to Dancing

He has turned our mourning into dancing

He has changed our sorrows into joys

A song of praise instead of sadness

For our grief the oil of joy.

That we might be trees of righteousness

The planting of the Lord

That He might be glorified.

As far as I can remember, these are the lyrics of a song we used to sing at our summer youth camp. I love this song more than ever today.

It's been quite a while since I've visited your page. Your dresses are beautiful and that pillow... wow! You do such beautiful work.

Mourning to Dancing... love those promises in Scripture. Our church is working on memorizing Scripture... a verse at a time, but I've been working on bigger chunks and having some success. I know 1 Corinthians 13 by memory and now I am almost all the way through Psalm 103. What a blessing to be able to say these words before my eyes open in the morning and before I drift off at night!

I have seem limited news items about troubles in your country. I do think of you and pray for you and your family as the Lord brings you to mind.

Our financial system here is in a very bad way these days... we wonder what the future will bring. We will see what our new president will have to offer after the new year.

God is good and supplies all of our needs and more so. We are very blessed. We had our first snow fall of the season here today. I'm not really ready to see winter again, but we live in the wrong part of the country to avoid it, so I might as well try to find the beauty in it.

Bless you,
